My Friend Sancho

My first book, My Friend Sancho, was published in May 2009, and went on to become the biggest selling debut novel released that year in India. It is a contemporary love story set in Mumbai, and had earlier been longlisted for the Man Asian Literary Prize 2008. To learn more about the book, click here.

Raima and Riya Sen’s Breasts and Hips

For many days I did not visit HT Tabloid, and it was entirely my loss. First up, in an immensely entertaining (and somewhat dubious) interview, Raima sen is quoted as saying:

I will really have to buck up in order to compete with Riya who is very sexy and glamorous. She has breasts and hips truly measuring up to Bollywood standards.

That perhaps explains the headline of another story in that section, “Riya Sen fed up with men!”

Two more headlines:
Akshaye revives love story with Riya!
Rumours are good fun: Akshaye Khanna

Anyway, back to the original story, in which Raima also says:

I want to look sexy. I will not mind shedding clothes for success of a film

Just because I look cool does not mean I am not vivacious.

Directors across the country are no doubt reconsidering their casting plans, looking for a way to fit her in. Such excitement HT Tabloid brings into all our lives!

PS: Speaking of candour, check out these headlines:

I’m moody and dumb: Nisha Kothari
I’m ready to kiss again: Vidya Balan

Heh.
