My first book, My Friend Sancho, was published in May 2009, and went on to become the biggest selling debut novel released that year in India. It is a contemporary love story set in Mumbai, and had earlier been longlisted for the Man Asian Literary Prize 2008. To learn more about the book, click here.

Nice gimmick, but who has jurisdiction, that’s the question. Also, if God loses, the judge goes straight to hell, where Himesh Reshammiya is the piped music.
The report elaborates:
[Senator Ernie] Chambers says he isn’t suing God because he has any kind of beef with the deity. He says the suit is to fight possible laws restricting the filing of frivolous lawsuits.
I’m not sure this will help, honestly.
(Via separate emails from Gautam, Santosh and Silk-list. Santosh refers to an old column of mine, God Resigns, and writes, “Perhaps that is why God wants to resign, too many frivolous law suits.")
