My first book, My Friend Sancho, was published in May 2009, and went on to become the biggest selling debut novel released that year in India. It is a contemporary love story set in Mumbai, and had earlier been longlisted for the Man Asian Literary Prize 2008. To learn more about the book, click here.

I’m staying right now in NYC at my friend Manish Vij‘s place in Harlem, and he showed me a classic video a short while ago that I can’t help sharing with you. It shows Dharmendra in kurta-pajama fighting Bruce Li. Needless to say, Bruce Li is a faux Bruce Lee—but Dharmendra is the real Dharmendra: Castrol Unlimited.
The first shot of Zeenat in the video is especially bracing.
